畢業于美國楊百翰大學，獲數學教育學學士和商學副學士。在楊百翰大學就讀期間，當教師助手，由此開始了她的教師職業生涯。持有微積分與統計學教學資格證書。曾花五年時間在猶他州、內華達州和華盛頓州教書，后轉而主講AP微積分和AP統計學。在之后的7年里，由于她的努力，連續數年創造了全部通過的記錄，幫助她所在學校成為被州政府認可的優秀學校之一。連續4年為美國全國數學教師理事會成員（National Council of Teachers of Mathematics）。她每年暑假都會參加專業教師培訓和合作活動。同時她也會到AP 閱卷機構，與來自世界各地的800多名統計學老師和教授在7天里，為超過20萬人的AP考試試卷評分。Tippetts女士有4個孩子。閑暇時，她和家人喜歡閱讀、爬山、各種體育活動、園藝、騎行、和音樂，尤其是小提琴。

Mrs. Amanda Tippetts is an AP Statistics and AP Calculus math teacher at RDF International School. Mrs. Tippetts began her math teaching career as a teacher's aid while attending Brigham Young University. Gleaning valuable experience from nationally recognized teachers, Mrs. Tippetts moved to Las Vegas High School and taught her first AP Statistics class. After five years of teaching in Utah, Nevada, and Washington, Mrs. Tippetts moved to teaching both AP Calculus and AP Statistics. For the next seven years, she experienced great success in preparing students to pass the AP exams having multiple years of 100% student passing rate resulting in her school receiving state recognition as a top performing school. Mrs. Tippetts participates in excellent professional development and collaboration as she travels during the summer every year to the AP reading where she and 800 Statistics teachers and professors from around the world grade over 200,000 AP exams over seven days. Mrs. Tippetts graduated from BYU with a BA in Mathematics Education and a business minor. The Tippetts family enjoy reading, hiking, various sports, gardening, biking, and music, especially violin.
